On 06-07 October 2020, in collaboration with the National Authority for Combating Drugs (NACD) and Ministry of Health (MoH), KHANA under the Harm Reduction Advocacy in Asia (HRAsia) project, funded by the Global Fund through the India HIV/AIDS Alliance, conducted training on ‘Implementation of Harm Reduction in Partnership with Law Enforcement” to local police and local authorities from Khan Meanchey and Chbar Ampov. The objective of the training is to raise awareness on importance of the partnership of law enforcement in harm reduction and treatment, improve understanding of local police and local authorities about government’s policy and strategy of harm reduction, and introduce the law enforcement related to referral mechanisms to refer people who use drugs to access treatment service and rehabilitation.
