Workshop on Gender Based Violence

Workshop on Gender Based Violence and gender mainstreaming for KHANA, consortium partners and staff of the Centres of Excellence is being held at Imperial Garden in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

This USAID-sponsored three-day workshop is organized by KHANA Policy and Strategy Team, aiming to enhance understanding on gender-based violence and mainstreaming and to ensure that the programs and activities are fully integrated with gender, women empowerment and the most-at-risk populations (MARPs) empowerment.

Participants are given opportunity to reflect on gender-based violence and gender mainstreaming and integrations. In addition, participants are also able to discuss sexual assaults, sexual harassment, personal space, state obligations under international treaties and the Constitution in promoting and protecting equality between women and men. At the end of Day 3, the discussions also focus on gender diversity, sexual orientation and identities.
