Capacity Building Workshop on field implementation of Cambodia 3.0 initiative for SRP-OD staff

With the support from  HIV Flagship (KHANA, FHI 360, PSI), NCHADS in collaboration with Siem Reap Provincial Health Department , HIV Flagship team organized the Capacity Building Workshop on Field Implementation of Cambodia 3.0 Initiative for SRP-OD staff, which was held in Angkor Mondial Hotel in Siem Reap from 18 to 19 March 2014. 

The workshop provides summary information on Conceptual Framework for Elimination of new HIV infection in Cambodia by 2020 (Cambodia 3.0); improves ownership and transfer role and responsible to SRP-OD for implementation of Cambodia 3.0 initiative; and provides guidance to OD and partners for preparation on implementation of Coordination mechanism to support Cambodia 3.0 Initiative, Active Case Management and partner tracing process, OD SRP Directory, and Package of priority activities for Cambodia 3.0 initiative.

Approximately 81 persons including representatives from NCHADS, SRP-PHD/PASP, OD-SRP, SRP-RH, Angkor Chum OD, WHO, USAID,  HIV Flagship, CHAI, AHF, UNAID and all NGOs working on HIV Prevention, care and treatment ( SCC, AHC, Caritas, BFD, MHC, RHAC, CWPD, CRC, AFESIP and CPN+ shared experience in implementing Active Case Management and Partner Tracing under the Flagship Project, discussed the use of monitoring tool of ACM and agreed to the next step of implementation of Cambodia 3.0 initiative. They singed of the Letter of Agreement between the Siam Reap Health Department, the Flagship Project, AIDS Health Care Foundation and NCHADS.

Back to the opening session, Dr. Mean Chhi Vun, Director of NCHADS, along with the Dr. Kros Sarath, the Director of Siem Reap Provincial Health Department, Mr. Choub Sok Chamreun, the representative from HIV Flagship, Mr.  Ung Kim Heang, Country Director of AHF and Ms. Emily Well, Deputy Director of CHAI, Cambodia appreciated the SRP-PHD/PASP/SRP-OD and all partners for their dedication, contribution and support in the implementation of Cambodia 3.0 initiative (B-CoPTC, B-CoC/LR). He hopes that SRP-OD will celebrate the Elimination of new HIV infection in SRP-OD by November 2018.
